Self-care practices for body and soul

“Taking good care of you means the people in your life will receive the best of you, rather than what’s left of you” – Carl Bryan

The world is moving 100km/hour, life gets busy, we get caught up in our jobs that we often forget to sit back and have some time to ourselves. Self-care is a crucial part in maintaining your health and wellness. There are simple ways you can do on a daily basis to improve quality of life.

Me, myself and I

Doing things solo can be a little weird as the nature of human beings is to be social. But once you are used to it, you will feel the beauty of finding yourself, and be able to appreciate yourself more.

It’s called comfort food for a reason

It has been proven in recent studies that comfort food can lift up your mood and improve your well-beings. So go treat yourself with all things good!

Sleep well, live better

We often hear parents say “things will get better in the morning” because sleep does benefit your body and soul a lot more than you can imagine!

One thing to remember is that self-care is not a selfish act. It simply means that you honour yourself and are grateful of life. Now, take a good rest and enjoy your holiday 🙂
