How to do Padma Resort Ubud in 72 hours without leaving the hotel

Padma Resort Ubud is the place to be when you want to unwind and just switch off from the world. Surrounded by the lush green hills of Payangan, you will get to experience a home away from home while enjoying the best of what nature has to offer.

There is plenty to do and discover without needing to step your foot outside of the main gate. So if you are planning to trade your concrete-jungle routines and experience a slow-paced life for 72 hours at Padma Resort Ubud without ever leaving the hotel, we’ve curated the perfect itinerary to inspire your next holiday with us.

Day 1:

3 PM
After a long-haul flight and journey from the airport, you’ve finally arrived at your Ubud’s haven. Our friendly Front Office team will greet and help you for a smooth check-in process. Don’t forget to try our welcome drink – served during check-in time – to quickly replenish yourself while enjoying the tropical breeze in our open space lobby.

3.15 PM
Now it’s time to spoil your appetite with some delicious afternoon tea treats at The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge. If you choose to stay in one of our Club rooms, you will be lucky enough to enjoy an intimate afternoon tea at the Club Lounge, offering a spectacular view of the Payangan Hills. But fret not, The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge also has an incredible view of the hills and infinity pool.

4 PM

Did you know we have a mini library tucked away in the corner of our Club Lounge? It’s located adjacent to The Puhu Restaurant and Lounge, so you can make your way once you’re done with your afternoon tea. All guests are welcome to have a browse in our library and borrow a novel to accompany your 72 hours slow-paced adventure.

After you have a book in hand, it’s time to head to our infinity pool to lounge and read for a couple of hours. Or you may also have a quick dip and maybe even a cocktail or two at our Pool Bar.

7 PM
After that few hours recuperating from all the stress of traveling, it’s time to make your way for some delicious dinner at The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge.

9 PM
Your first few hours at Padma Resort Ubud has finally ended. You can head back to the room and set yourself a nice warm bath before calling it a day.

Day 2:

7 AM
Let’s start the day early for a morning walk or jog on our 3.4 KM Jogging Track. The track also leads to a hidden river and bamboo bridge, perfect for a morning contemplation.

After you get that adrenaline pumping, make your way for breakfast at The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge. We have a wonderful selection of healthy corner to keep you feeling fit during the holiday, like our homemade yoghurt that will be so good for your digestion. Don’t forget to try Indonesian’s traditional jamu or herbal drink for that extra healthy kick.

10 AM
It’s time for your first Padma Resort Ubud outdoor activity! We recommend the Agroforestry Tour, where you can discover our trimmed garden and colourful plants. We have some rare plants, such as pineapple medusa. Our friendly team will guide you during this tour so you can also get an insight into the wonderful botanical world. In addition to that, you can pick the ripe fruits! And some of the ingredients for the food served on your table is taken fresh from our garden.

12 PM
Get away from heat and cool down for a few hours in the comfort of your room. While you’re at it, order a room service for lunch. We recommend the Roasted Duck Gyoza, Mango Mule drink and Chocolate Molten.

2 PM
Not only you can immerse yourself with nature, but you can also soak up on some cultural activities while staying at Padma Resort Ubud. One activity we recommend is learning how to play Angklung. The traditional Indonesian musical instrument is made out of bamboo tubes, originated in West Java. You can also brush up on your Bahasa Indonesia as we also offer a quick lesson.

3 PM
It’s time for your daily afternoon tea at The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge. Don’t forget to grab your book for an ideal afternoon tea companion. For those who like to stay active, head to the Fitness Centre. We also have a steam and sauna facility if you want to skip all the gym’s heavy lifting.

4 PM
Break a little sweat with our fun Archery session and play pretend that you’re Katniss Everdeen from “The Hunger Games” or even Robin Hood. Remember to snap a good Instagram photo before you leave. We also offer private lessons if you really want to sharpen your skill. The minimum age for the weekly archery activity is 12 years old.

5 PM
With all the fun that you’ve been having the past 24 hours, let yourself loose at The Spa with some truly relaxing treatment. Try the True Bliss treatment, 2-hour treatment consists of warm stone massage and Elemis facial.

7 PM
What better way to end a good day with a scrumptious dinner at The Pool Cafe and Bar? Order the Taro Nachos, made of taro root taken from our own organic garden.

Day 3:

7 AM
Start your day with a Sunrise Yoga session to you keep up with all the exciting activities throughout the day.

You haven’t been to Padma Resort Ubud if you haven’t tried our Secret Floating Breakfast at our secret pool, to allow you to have an intimate breakfast moment. The activity is highly popular, so make sure to book two days in advance. And if you have extra room for more food, you’re still entitled to nibble on our buffet breakfast at The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge.

10 AM
We hope you won’t be afraid to get down and dirty! Fun Paddy Planting lets you farm your own paddy, just like a real Balinese farmer. Our paddy field is located on the Agroforestry Garden, just steps away from our Fish Lagoon and Animal Garden.

11 AM
After you help us plant some paddy, head to the neighbouring Animal Garden and pay a visit to our fluffy rabbits and hamsters.

12 PM

2.30 PM
Another day another afternoon tea time at The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge. But enjoy it slowly, as this will be your last one before you check-out tomorrow.

4 PM
We recently added a new Fish Lagoon feature as part of the Agroforestry Garden. Here you can experience fishing using a traditional bamboo rod. The fish will be released again once caught unless you opt to join our Cooking Class, in which the fish will be used as part of the class.

5 PM
You greet the day with a Sunrise Yoga, so why not bid it farewell with a Sunset Yoga session? Our Bale Bamboo looks especially stunning during the golden hours.

6 PM
A quick dip at the Jacuzzi to relieve all the muscle tensions or just relax in your room to finish up on that book.

And if you’re traveling with your other half, give them a lovely surprise of our special Soak and Soothe treatment of 90 minutes Balinese massage, flower bath set-up, chocolate-dipped strawberry and a bottle of bubbly.

8 PM
Your last supper at Padma Resort Ubud should be done with our variety of themed dinners. One themed dinner that you should try is our impeccable Degustation 3 Course Menu, where you can savour some of these succulent options such as scallop ceviche Mille fille with avocado salsa on cure watermelon, orange segment and lime foam as Amuse Bouche, and duo lamb loin and giant scalloped butternut squash, baby vegetable marinated asparagus and shallot jus for the main.

9.30 PM – 10.30 PM
And what better way to end your last night by idling away at The Lounge for a read. There is also a football table to keep you entertained or even a shisha.

Day 4:

8 AM
Your last breakfast at The Puhu Restaurant & Lounge should be savoured with some sinful doughnut treats that are lovingly handmade in our kitchen.

9 AM
Lounging by the pool to finish up the book with a cocktail of Ginger Be Passion from our Sunken Bar at hand is the best way to spend the last remaining hours at Padma Resort Ubud. And since our pool is heated you don’t have to worry if you decide for an early morning dip instead.

12 PM
Your 72 hours journey at Padma Resort Ubud has finally come to an end, and you made it without even leaving the hotel! Don’t forget to return the book to the Club Lounge or to our Front Office team during check-out.

If you wish to explore outside of the hotel but without the hassle of arranging transportations or tours, why not give our Bali Voyage a try?
