Whether you’re an amateur photographer or a selfie enthusiast, these spots promise to deliver the perfect settings for your holiday memories in Padma Resort Ubud. Get your camera or phone ready to explore the most Instagramable locations in our resort, and let’s get down to the list of top 10 favourite spots.

1. A Warm Welcome, Candi Bentar

Start your photo journey with the iconic Candi Bentar, a traditional Javanese and Balinese symmetrical split gate that exudes a sense of cultural charm, surrounded by a lush greenery garden that welcomes you as soon as you arrive. You can capture photos with different poses from a distance or videos by walking away from the Candi Bentar, filmed moving backwards to capture the warm welcome’s beauty and feeling.

2. The Soothing Koi Pond

Move from the Candi Bentar to the Lobby area. Find the soothing Koi Pond with the vibrant hues of the Koi fish swimming gracefully, and add serenity to your photographs. Step onto the deck, and you can capture from these three favourite angles: besides the couch in the Lobby, precisely from the centre of the hallway leading to the lobby courtyard, and on the opposite side from the hallway towards the building. You can feed the fish too, and get closer to them when it’s feeding time!

3. Balinese Authentic Bale Kulkul

The next one is located just behind the Koi Pond stands Bale Kulkul, a building that may pique your curiosity as you enter our Lobby during your visit. It boasts a traditional Balinese design with an iconic golden carved door. You can sit on the stairs, descend them, move away from Bale Kulkul, and capture photos from either the front or side angle.

4. Stairs amidst a garden

As the resort is surrounded by a lush green garden and a breathtaking valley, you can take stairs that divide the garden into two sections, leading you to the central building. You can explore and create stunning photos from various angles: whether it’s from the upper side, the lower side, or near The Puhu Restaurant on level 4, where you can truly encapsulate the vibrant green ambience of the Lobby courtyard from above.

5. Breathtaking panoramic view from The Puhu Restaurant

Everyone’s favourite spot from the deck of The Puhu Restaurant. Make everyone jealous with your moment while enjoying your breakfast and sipping a hot cappuccino. If you prefer a caffeine-free option, treat yourself to a cup of tea. You can also indulge in afternoon tea or lunch while showing the stunning surrounding valley from the building’s highest level. Let the world admire the lovely and calming view through you!

6. Refreshments by the pool

Who can resist sipping on a refreshing cocktail while feeling the essence of relaxation at The Pool Bar with a magnificent view? Lounge by the heated Infinity Pool, soak up the sun and snap away as you capture moments of pure bliss. The luxurious setting and tropical vibes make this spot a traveller’s paradise.

7. The Edge of Infinity Pool

There are numerous reasons why this spot is considered the number one spot in the resort. It offers a breathtaking view of the magnificent Payangan forest, a sight that is not commonly seen. Our infinity pool is heated, making it an ideal place to take a dip at any time of day. Despite the rain, some of our guests find joy in swimming in the pool and choose not to leave. However, be mindful of your safety near the edges of the infinity pool as stepping on them. And just be sure to hold on to your phone tightly!

8. The iconic architecture, Bamboo Nest

Nestled amidst the lush greenery, walk down from the Infinity Pool, and you’ll find the enchanting Bamboo Nest, a unique structure that offers a cosy and picturesque setting for your photos, surrounded by nature’s embrace. You can take a picture with a lower angle, take a walking video and highlight a beautiful view wheater after yoga class with your favourite poses or take a cherished moment with your loved one.

9. Calling the animal lovers

Have you met our friendly and adorable animals? It’s rare to take candid shots while feeding the animals, fishing, or saying hello to our rescued otters, Chika and Chiko, who always ask you to feed them.

10. Immerse in nature

Did you know we have a 2KM jogging track within the resort? Yes, this track will guide you down to the valley and find the magnificent Bamboo forest and a Bamboo bridge covered with lush trees with a mystical river flowing beneath our resort. What a unique photo spot you might never see before.
