Celebrating the Spooky Season

Who here loves Halloween? It’s the one day of the year when it is totally normal to dine in your pumpkin outfit or go out drinking as a vampire. As Halloween approaches, we can’t let it pass without some fun in the bamboo forest of Payangan. And this year, we are more than ready to spoil our little guests with a Halloween party and treats! If you’re spending it with us this year, here’s a list of activities you and your family can do to keep the spooky spirits alive!

Resort Trick or Treat Parade

Though Halloween is not part of the Balinese culture, we love celebrating everything that involves joy! And we know how much fun it is to go Trick or Treating for kids (and kids at heart!). But instead of circling the neighbourhood, this time, we are inviting our little guests to have a once-a-year chance to sneak into the back office of Padma Resort Ubud! Get them ready to fright everyone around the resort with their spookiest costumes until they can’t say no to filling their Halloween baskets!

More for the kids!

We understand that happy kids equal happy parents. If you’re thinking of having a little kids-free time while your kids indulge in Halloween treats and have fun with new friends over face painting, movie night, and arts and crafts, sign them up for the Kids Halloween Party at Wolly Kids Club this Halloween Monday, 31 October 2022.

Delight in creepy food!

What is a Halloween party without creepy treats? Kids, feast like the undead and fill your stomach with frightfully delicious creations such as Witch Cupcakes, Pumpkin Bread, Finger Brownies, Creeptastic Hot Chocolate, and Popcorn. Here’s a sneak peek of all the fun that will make the kids scream for joy!

Halloween Story Time for the parents!

Spending Halloween evening reading or watching horror stories is always tempting, even though that means sleeping with the lights on after! While Halloween is commonly associated with bats, zombies, and witches, now that you are in Bali, why don’t you explore the horror stories of the island? There’s an interesting article by Padma Resort Legian a few years ago featuring three of the spookiest spots in Bali. Click here if you’re brave enough to read it.
